William F. “Bill” Tarkowski, 60, of rural Earlville, IL passed away Saturday, October 31, 2015 at OSF St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria, IL. He was born November 13, 1954 in Chicago, IL the son Jerome and Pauline Trudeau Tarkowski. He married Debbie Taylor on April 16, 1977 in Bensenville, IL. He was a member of Local #150 Midwest Operator & Engineers Union, and Laborers Union. He enjoyed tinkering with cars, on line auctions, but most of all spending time with his grandchildren and family.
He is survived by his wife Debbie of Earlville, two daughters, Lisa Kevin Donnell of Peru, IL and Laura Dustin Doubet of Peru, IL; one son Anthony Tarkowski of Ottawa, IL; eight grandchildren, Jacey, Riley, Paizley and Cole Donnell, Ethan Tarkowski Doubet, Briannah, Keegan and Kyle Doubet; his father Jerome Tarkowski, and his mother-in-law Dorothy Taylor, two brothers, Bob and Vince; six sisters, Kathy, Mary, Liz, Theresa, Sue and Jenny, and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his mother Pauline, and his father-in-law Murrie Taylor.
Visitation will be from 3:00 to 5:00 p.m., Wednesday, November 4, 2015 at Hanley-Turner-Eighner Funeral Home 407 S. Ottawa St. Earlville, IL, with a Private Prayer Service to follow.
