William B. Hindle

William B. Hindle, 86, of Earlville, IL passed away, Thursday, February 2, 2012 at his home. He was born March 2, 1925 in LaSalle, IL the son of Bert and Stella (Hanson) Hindle. He married Mary Louise Swayze on March 2, 1946 in LaSalle, IL. He was a member of Earlville United Methodist Church in Earlville. He farmed in the Paw Paw and Earlville area for many years. Bill and Bob Rave owned and operated the R&H Supermarket in Earlville for thirty years.

He is survived by his four children, Larry (Nancy) Hindle of Hillsboro, IL, Linda (Tom) Lonie of Roseburg, OR, Doug (Karol) Hindle of Earlville, IL and Cindy (Chuck Lippert) McPheters of Somonauk, IL; nine grandchildren; eight great grandchildren;
one sister-in law, Helen Rave of Earlville and one brother-in-law Russ Swayze of Peru.

He is preceded in death by his parents; his wife Mary, one sister, Ruth Dooley.

Funeral Services will be at 10:30 a.m., Monday, February 6, 2012 at Earlville United Methodist Church with Pastor Cheri Stewart officiating. Burial will follow at Precinct Cemetery in Earlville. Visitation will be from 1:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m., Sunday, February 5, 2012 at Hanley-Turner-Eighner Funeral Home in Earlville. Memorials may be directed to Earlville Ambulance Fund or The Earlville Fire Department.
