Wendy Shaw, 64, of Sandwich passed away Sunday, March 5, 2017 at Willow Crest Nursing Pavilion in Sandwich, IL. She was born March 5, 1953 in Glencoe, MN, the daughter of Harold and Trudy Kocina. She married Robert Shaw on March 10, 1972 in Naperville, IL.
Wendy was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She enjoyed gardening, cooking, crafting, and playing cards. Wendy was employed for many years as a cashier/manager at Bellettini’s Grocery Store and later managed Sandwich Office Supply Store. Her smile and sense of humor will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
She is survived by her husband, Bob; her mother, Trudy Bill Czubernat; her daughter, Brittany Doug Rients, their son, Jesse; her son, Jason Barbie Shaw, their children, Scarlet, Max, Trinity and Jaxon, her son, Aaron Hannah Shaw, their daughters, Heather Jeff Crisman Harding and Samantha Harding; one great granddaughter, Alice Louise Crisman; her brothers, Doug Beth Kocina and Layne Michelle Kocina; her sister, Evanne John Seymore; her mother-in-law, Ruth Shaw; her brother-in-law, Norm Shaw; her sister-in-lw, Virginia Seward; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her father, Harold Kocina.
