Wanda T. Huggett, 83. of Earlville passed away Friday, January 6, 2012 in Mendota Community Hospital in Mendota. She was born January 27, 1928 in Winston-Salem, NC, the daughter of Dallas and Douschka (Spry) James. She married Norman L. Huggett on December 8, 1945 in Kernesville, NC.
She was survived in death by two sons, Charles Huggett of Earlville and Ronald Huggett of Earlville; three grandchildren; five great grandchildren and one sister, Marjie Jenkins of Winston-Salem, NC.
She is preceded in death by her husband, one son, Phillip Ray Huggett; one sister, Jackie Whittaker and two brothers, Dallas Jr. and Donald James.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m., Wednesday, January 11, 2012 at Hanley-Turner-Eighner Funeral Home in Earlville, IL with Pastor Cheri Stewart officiating. Burial will following in Elerding Cemetery in Sheridan. Visitation will be from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m., Tuesday, January 10, 2012 at the funeral home.
