Wade W. Maradei

Wade W. Maradei, 62, of Somonauk, Illinois passed away on Saturday, November 4, 2023 at his home. He was born February 28, 1961 in Chicago, Illinois, the son of William D. and Elizabeth (Casey) Maradei. Wade graduated high school from Marmion Academy in Aurora, IL. He received his undergraduate from Lewis University in Romeoville, IL and also held a master’s degree from Columbia University. He retired as a Lt. Colonel from the United States Army Reserves after serving for twenty-eight years.

He is survived by his brother, Dale (Ruth) Maradei; one nephew, Daniel (Caley) Maradei; and two great-nieces, Eloise and Quinn Maradei.

He is preceded in death by his parents and one sister, Donna Maradei.

Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. on Friday, November 10, 2023 at Turner-Eighner Funeral Home in Somonauk, Illinois. Funeral Mass will be at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Somonauk on Friday, November 10, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. with Father Kevin Butler officiating.
