Virginia Ann Storzbach

August 30, 1925 — July 5, 2016

Virginia Ann Storzbach, 90, of Sandwich, IL passed away, after a courageous battle with congestive heart failure, Tuesday, July 5, 2016 in Willow Crest Nursing Pavilion in Sandwich. She was born August 30, 1925 in Fond Du Lac, WI the daughter of Ora and Lillian Beier Vroman. She married Bernard “Barney” Storzbach on June 23, 1943 in Stevens Point, WI. She was formerly employed by the Pants Factory in Sandwich for over 15 years and then after 22 years of service she retired from CTS Knights in Sandwich. Virginia was a member of United Methodist Church of Sandwich. She enjoyed gardening, Boston Terriers, collecting Thomas Kincaid memorabilia and just being a loving caring person. She was an avid White Sox fan.

She is survived by one granddaughter, Tami Gladden of Lochbuie, CO; five great granddaughters; one great grandson; three great great grandsons; and her beloved dog “Casey”.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband in 1994, her daughter and son-in-law, Nancy and Joseph Harmon and two granddaughters, Dawn Watts and Traci Gladden, and one sister Elaine Smith.

According to Virginia’s wishes there will be no visitation or services. Burial of her urn will be in Campbells Corners Cemetery in Plainfield, WI.
