Vida June Dollman

Vida June Dollman, 81, of Yorkville passed away August 18, 2014 at Rush-Copley Medical Center in Aurora. She was born December 26, 1932 in Fenelson, GA the daughter of Gethrow Cecil and Mattis (Wishum) VanLandingham. She married Frederick A. Dollman on February 1, 1952 in Albany, GA. She was a member of Yorkville Congregational Church and First Christian of Albany, GA. June enjoyed golfing, reading, gardening, cooking, playing cards with her friends at Cedardell, volunteering through her community, church and was a devoted homemaker. June and Fred ran the business of York Steel in Yorkville for many years. She was very passionate about her love for her husband, children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. June will be greatly missed by her extended family and her many friends.

She is survived by her husband, Frederick of Yorkville, IL; two daughters, Pamela Snell of Naperville, IL and Toni (Robert) Dhuse of Yorkville, IL; three sons, Michael (Dolores) Dollman and Jeff Dollman both of Yorkville, IL and Eric (Jill) Dollman of Stamford, CT; seven grandchildren, Erin Jensen. Paige (Michael) Quartullo, Kyle Dhuse, Zoe Dollman, Jordann Dhuse, Dylan Dollman and Dashiell Dollman; two great grandchildren, Beau Johnson and Brantley Quartullo.

She was preceded in death by her parents, ten brothers and sisters.

Private funeral services were held at Yorkville Congregational Church with Pastor Mark Gregory officiating. Burial was held at Elmwood Cemetery in Yorkville, IL.
