Vicki L. Larson

Vicki Larson, 65, of Sterling, IL formerly of Leland, IL, passed away Saturday, March 31, 2018 at Rock River Hospice & Home in Sterling, IL. She was born June 9, 1952 in Pittsfield, IL, the daughter of Amos L. “Ted” and Anna Mae (Greife) Elder. She married Jeff Larson on July 13, 1973 in Leland, IL. She was a member of Bethany Lutheran Church in Leland. She drove a school bus for Leland Community School District #1 for many years. Vicki enjoyed doing crafts and loved spending time with her family including her beloved pets; Fletcher, Fiona, and Fonzie.

She is survived by her husband, Jeff; one daughter, Jodie Larson of Sterling; one son, Jason (Lynnsey) Larson of Sterling; three granddaughters, Olivia, Isabella and Emma; one grandson, Blake; two brothers, Karl (Brenda) Elder and Dave (Diane) Elder; one sister-in-law, Jackie (Larry) Dannewitz, and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her in-laws, Norman and Roberta Larson.

Private Funeral services will be held at Turner-Eighner Funeral Home in Somonauk, IL. Visitation will be from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, April 5, 2018 at Turner-Eighner Funeral Home in Somonauk, IL.
