Vanga Elaine Enlow, 83, of Elgin, Iowa formally of Plano, Illinois passed away on September 4, 2024 at her daughter’s home in Earlville, Illinois surrounded by her family. She was born October 5, 1940 in Gray Ridge, Missouri the daughter of Daniel and Icy Adams. Vanga married Bob Enlow and was happily married for 30 years until he passed away. She worked for Western Electric for 30 years until her retirement, she continued to attend all the reunions there to see all work family. She also worked for 13 years at the Silver Dollar in Yorkville; she was loved there by so many. Vanga’s passion was bowling where she played in multiple leagues and never missed a tournament. She always enjoyed traveling and going to new places.
She will be dearly missed by her daughter, Deborah (Rich) Couch; stepsons, Mike (Amy) Enlow and John (Kristy) Enlow; grandchildren, Jennifer (Jared) Ostrom, Parker (Stephanie) Enlow, Audrey (Sarah) Enlow and Kaitlyn (Josh) Fleck; several great-grandchildren, 23 happy years with her companion and special friend, Frank Hill of Elgin, Iowa.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Daniel and Icy Adams; husband, Bob Enlow; sister, Shirley Mooneyham; brothers, Harold and Garland Adams; son, Jeffrey Enlow; and granddaughter, Heather Elaine Green.
A graveside service will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, September 7, 2024 at Lincoln Memorial Park in Aurora, IL with Rev. Tom Bourke officiating. For more information or to sign the online guestbook go to
