Vanessa Ann Fletcher, 56, of Paw Paw, IL passed away Thursday, November 7, 2013 at her home surrounded by her loving family. She was born September 18, 1957 in Sandwich, IL the daughter of John W. and Barbara J. (Troeger) Carls. She married John S. Fletcher on September 14, 1985 at Our Savior Lutheran Church in Sandwich. She loved to read, care for her 4-legged kids, travel and especially spend time with her family.
She is survived by her husband, John of Paw Paw, IL; her mother Barbara (Ron) Stetz of Saginaw, TX; one sister, Terra (Rita Potter) Stetz of Sandwich, IL; her step-mother, Cheryl Carls of Sandwich, IL and her children, Paul, Sarah and Eric; her aunt and uncle, Norman and Roberta Troeger of Sandwich, IL; cousins, Deanna Francis of Sandwich, IL and Connie (Dave) Kiesewetter of Bloomington, IL; mother and fathers in-law, Vivian (George) Eberly of Hinckley, IL and John Fletcher of Clearwater, FL; one sister-in-law, Julie (Bob) Snyder of Cape Coral, FL and two nieces, Jennifer and Amy.
She was preceded in death by her father, John Carls.
According to Vanessa’s wishes there will be no visitation or services. Memorials may be directed to The Open Door Rehabilitation Center in Sandwich.
