Timothy “Tim” Wessels, 53, of Earlville, IL passed away Thursday, January 25, 2018 at his home in Earlville surrounded by his loving family. He was born September 3, 1964 in McHenry, IL the son of Gerald L. and Margaret A. Tesch Wessels. Tim proudly served in the United States Army. He enjoyed Bingo, a good game of Euchre, and sports especially the Chicago teams. Tim loved watching his nieces and nephews play in their sporting events. He played on the Moose Softball team in Rollo, IL.
He is survived by his mother, Margaret Theodore Seed of Earlville; two children, Jerald Wessels of Sandwich, IL and MegAnn Wessels of Leland, IL; his siblings, Richard Remy Wessels of Pine Island, NY, Naomi Mike Grace of Somonauk, IL and LeeAnn William Linder of Sheridan, IL; seven nieces and nephews, Arial Ryan Bond, Tyler, Emily, Claire and Amelia Grace, Hunter and Alexis Linder; many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
He was preceded in death by his father Gerald.
Funeral Mass will be held at 10:00 a.m., Monday, January 29, 2018 at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Somonauk, IL with Father Kevin Butler officiating. Burial will follow in St. John Catholic Cemetery Somonauk. Visitation will be from 3:00 to 7:00 p.m., on Sunday, January 28, 2018 at Turner-Eighner Funeral Home in Somonauk, IL.
