Timothy Scott Campbell, born on January 28, 1963, in Aurora, Illinois, departed this world on February 5, 2026, in Chicago, surrounded by the love of his family. A dedicated electrician, Timothy’s hands and heart were devoted to his craft, bringing light and power to countless lives.

In January 28, 2011, he married his beloved wife, Seunghee Shin, in Sycamore, Illinois. This partnership was one woven through laughter, shared dreams, and deep affection, creating a warm and loving home. Timothy's cherished family includes his daughter Jessica and son Joon, and mother -in-law, Yoon Choi through whom his legacy will continue to shine.

Timothy was not just defined by his profession but also by his passions and vibrant spirit. He reveled in the thrill of golfing, the excitement of car racing, and the serenity of fishing. His enthusiasm for life’s pleasures was evident in his love for music, frequently seen enjoying concerts spanning country, rock, and heavy metal genres. Whether riding his Harley down open roads or cheering for his favorite teams in the NHL, NFL, and college sports, Timothy lived life with a zest that inspired those around him. Most importantly, he treasured the moments spent with his family, creating a tapestry of memories filled with love and laughter.

Timothy is survived by his wife, Seunghee Shin; children, Jessica and Joon; mother-in-law, Yoon Choi; and siblings, Pete Campbell, Steve Campbell (Jennie Smith), Jeff (Missy) Campbell, Joe (Amy) Campbell, and Kate Hardin (Kerry). He is also remembered fondly by his many nieces and nephews—Packard (Torie) Campbell, Corey (Gabby) Hardin, Breanne (Marvin) Fultz, Ryan Hardin, Taylor Corvo (Mike), Alijah Campbell, McKenna (Tim) McNally, Grant Campbell, Lexie Campbell, and Noah Campbell—as well as great nieces and nephews, cousins, and friends who were blessed to have him in their lives.

Timothy is preceded in death by his parents, Gerald and Mary (McManus) Campbell, who nurtured his kind heart and adventurous spirit.

A visitation will be held at St. Theresa Catholic Church, located at 221 West Union Street in Earlville, Illinois, on February 10, 2026, from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM.
