Thomas E. "Tom" Warren

Thomas E. “Tom” Warren, 79, of Venice, Florida formerly of Somonauk, IL, passed away Wednesday, January 7, 2015 in Venice Hospital in Florida. He was born October 26, 1935 in Sandwich, IL the son of Rollin and Dorothy (Graf) Warren. Tom graduated from Somonauk High School in the class of 1953. He graduated from Iowa State University in 1957; his fraternity was Phi Kappa Tau. He was a member of Union Congregational Church in Somonauk. Tom farmed his entire life in the Somonauk area. He enjoyed having coffee with his many friends.
Memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, January 17, 2015 at Union Congregational Church in Somonauk, IL with Rev. Michelle-Leslie Prentice officiating. A reception will follow in the church hall. Private burial will be in Florida at a later date.
He is survived by one brother, Robert (JoAnn) Warren of Horseshoe Bay, Texas; one niece, Bonnie (Jerry) Gallop of Mustang, OK; one nephew, Christopher (Raandi) Warren of Parker, CO.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
