Theresa Schueller, 86, of Plano passed away Monday, August 18, 2014 at Seasons Hospice in Naperville. She was born December 31, 1927 in Hungary the daughter of Peter and Elisabeth (Eckert) Kresl. She married Michael Schueller on September 30, 1950 in Germany. Theresa was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Plano. She enjoyed cooking, gardening, picnics and socializing with friends and family.
She is survived by two sisters, Elisabeth Kresz of Aurora, IL and Anna (Andrew) Horn of Wauwatosa, WI; one brother-in-law, James Schumaker of Plano, IL; several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Michael, one sister, Martha Schumaker, one brother-in-law, Jacob Kresz, two nieces, Rosemary Grayson and Krista Schumaker and one nephew, Richard Kresz.
Funeral Mass will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, August 22, 2014 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Plano with Father Andy Davy, M.I.C. officiating. Burial will follow in St. Patrick’s Catholic Cemetery in Bristol. Visitation will be from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, August 21, 2014 at Turner-Eighner Funeral Home in Plano with a prayer service being held at 6:30 p.m. Memorials may be directed to St. Mary’s Catholic Church.
