THERESA KIRBY – 56
Theresa Kirby, 56, of Maple Park, IL passed away Sunday, December 3, 2017 at Kishwaukee Community Hospital in DeKalb, Il surrounded by her family. She was born November 6, 1961 in Miami, FL, the daughter of Leroy and Margaret Merritt Freeman. She married Jeffrey T. Kirby on September 12, 1980. Theresa was an avid Bears fan and she loved her family more than life itself. Her greatest joy was her children.
Theresa is survived by her best friend and husband of 37 years, Jeff Kirby, her son, Jeffrey Brandie Schnidt Kirby, her daughter, Maggie Harig and Maggie’s father, Mark Harig. She’s also survived by her four sisters Stephanie Dennis Bonzecyk, Diane Rodger Servin, Robin Roy Garza, Jeanine Priest, her mother-in-law Joanne Kirby, her brother and sister-in-law Alan Lorrie Kirby and Donna Larry Asselborn, as well as several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Margaret Freeman and her father-in-law, Bruce Kirby.
Memorial Service will be held at 6:15 p.m. on Friday, December 8, 2017 at Burkhart-Eighner Funeral Home in Sandwich. Visitation will be held from 3:00 p.m. until the time of service at 6:15 p.m. on Friday, December 8, 2017 at the funeral home in Sandwich.
