Terry A. Stuart

Terry A. Stuart, 61, of Earlville, IL passed away, Wednesday, February 29, 2012 in St. Mary’s Hospital Streator, IL. He was born July 25, 1950 in Sandwich, IL the son of Floyd Albert and Frances (Maly) Stuart. He was a veteran of the U.S. Marines having served in the Vietnam War where he received the Purple Heart and two Silver Stars. He worked as a die caster for many years and then worked at Wal-Mart in Plano, IL until his health failed him. He was a member the Mendota, V.F.W. and Moose Lodge.

He is survived by one daughter, Wendy Stuart of Mendota, IL; two grandchildren, Dakota Stuart and Colton Engler both of Mendota; two sisters, Laurel (Russell) Bunker of Oglesby, IL and Deborah (William) Weygand of Mendota, IL; one brother, Lance Stuart of Earlville, IL and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, one sister, Theresa Hampton, and one nephew, Doug Hampton Jr.

Memorial services will be held at 12:00 noon on Saturday, March 3, 2012 at Earlville United Methodist Church in Earlville, IL with Pastor Cheri Stewart officiating. Burial will be private. Visitation will be 11:00 a.m. until the time of service in the church. Arrangements were entrusted to Hanley-Turner-Eighner Funeral Home in Earlville, IL.
