Susan V. Morris Michael, 65, of Sandwich, IL passed away Sunday, July 3, 2016 at her home surrounded by her loving family. She was born July 12, 1950 in Aurora, IL the daughter of Wesley and Lois Holle Morris Sr. She was raised on a farm in rural Plano, IL and graduated from Plano High School in 1968. She married Randy Michael on January 25, 1969 in Plano, IL. She was a member of Harvest Chapel in Sandwich, IL. Susan enjoyed her church family, knitting, traveling, casinos, watching bull riding, cooking, gardening, but her greatest love of all was her family.
She is survived by Randy of Sandwich, IL, one daughter, Jennifer Jamie Martin of Somonauk, IL, one son Jeff Vickie Michael of Sugar Grove, IL; seven grandsons, Shawn Angie, Jesse, Tristan, Justin, Tanner, Jake and Cameron; two sisters, Debbie Tvrdik and Lisa Kevin Tierney both of Plano, IL, one brother Wesley Diane Morris Jr. of Big Rock, IL, and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Celebration of her life will be held at 10:00 a.m. Friday, July 8, 2016 at Harvest Chapel Sandwich, IL with Pastor Derek Johnsen officiating. Burial will follow in Welsh Cemetery Big Rock, IL. Visitation will be from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m., Thursday, July 7, 2016 at Turner-Eighner Funeral Home in Somonauk, IL. Memorials may be directed to Fox Valley Older Adults or Harvest Chapel Food Pantry.
