Susan Mary (Schwingle) Bahr, 72, of Plano, IL passed away Tuesday, February 13, 2018 at Valley West Hospital in Sandwich, IL. She was born November 17, 1945 in Boscobel, WI the daughter of Frank and Marcia (Gasser) Schwingle. She married John Paul Bahr on September 25, 1976 in Geneva, IL. Susan worked at MTH Tool Company in human resource department. She enjoyed being a coach for cheerleaders and basketball, even helped to sew the uniforms and flags. Susan was formerly on St. Mary’s School Board and loved going out to lunch with her sister on Saturday’s. She was an avid reader and jewelry fanatic.
She is survived by one daughter, Ann Bahr of Plano, IL; her grand puppies, Lucy and Nikita; 3 siblings, Vicki Teckenbrock of Plano, IL, Timothy (Jamie) Schwingle of Sterling, IL and Christopher (Sheri) Schwingle of Sandwich, IL; six nieces and nephews, James Jr., Olivia, Emily, Grant and Veasna and Mary Elizabeth, and several aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband John and one sister Pamela.
Funeral Service will be held at 5:00 p.m., Sunday, February 18, 2018 at Turner-Eighner Funeral Home in Plano, IL. Visitation will be from 2:00 p.m., Sunday in the funeral home until the service at 5:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers memorials may be directed to the family.
