Sue O. Casey, 99, of Earlville, Illinois passed away Wednesday, May 25, 2011 in Ottawa Regional Hospital and Healthcare Center. She was born December 1, 1911 in Ramsey, IL the daughter of George and Delilah (Vaughn) Daniels. She married Clark Casey on December 23, 1929 in Vandalia, IL. She was member of Earlville United Methodist Church. Before retiring she worked at CTS Knights in Sandwich for 17 years.
She is survived by several grandchildren including, Lee Lyn (Thomas) Jerde of Ottawa, IL, Bev Casey of Glen Ellyn, IL, Pam (Don) Gurdak of O’Dell, IL, six great grandchildren and several great great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, one son Perry Casey, one daughter Audrey Sanderson and one grandson Jeff Casey.
Memorial service will be held at 3:00 p.m., Sunday, May 29, 2011 at Hanley-Turner-Eighner Funeral Home in Earlville, IL with Pastor Cheri Stewart officiating. Visitation will be from 1:00 p.m., Sunday, May 29, 2011 until the time of service at 3:00 p.m. Memorials may be directed to the Earlville Ambulance Fund.
