Steven Lee Youssi 1961 - 2010 Steven Lee Youssi, 49, passed away Wednesday, Sept. 1, 2010 in Texas. Graveside service will be held at 2:30 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 25th, at Precinct Cemetery, rural Earlville, IL. Steven was born January 7, 1961 in Dekalb, IL the son of Donald and Arlene (Alexander) Youssi. Steven was a Lieutenant Colonel in the U.S. Air Force Reserve with 25 years of service, he was a B-52 electronic warfare officer and a decorated veteran of Operation Desert Storm, Operation Enduring Freedom, and Operation Iraq Freedom. Active with his sons' soccer teams and Boy Scout outings, Steve's life was one of dedication to his family and his country.
He is survived by his loving and devoted wife of 21 years, Michele; his three sons, Brandon, Bryan, and Brent of Benbrook, Texas; his mother, Arlene Butts of Earlville, IL; his brothers, Michael Youssi of Seattle, WA, and Daniel (Melody) Youssi of Mendota, IL; his sisters, Marilyn (David) Bennett of Troy Grove, IL, Jenny Coniglio of Cape Coral, FL, and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
He is preceded in death by his father, Donald Youssi, and his brothers, Terry and David Youssi all of Illinois.
