Steven J. Libner, 49, of Earlville, IL passed away, Sunday, November 13, 2011 at Northwestern Memorial Hospital in Chicago as the result of an auto accident. He was born December 1, 1961 in Chicago, IL, the son of Melvin and Helen (Schneider) Libner.
Steve was employed for Local 150, and was a member of NRA. He enjoyed hunting, walking down the lane with his dog, Hunter. He loved playing with his grandchildren and just being outdoors.
He is survived by his wife, Cheri (Warren) Libner of Earlville; his children, Nicole Reddington, Megan Libner, Steven Libner, Travis Libner, Tim (Amy) Stangland, Crystal (Eddie) Kelly and Bobbie Ollom; twelve grandchildren, Connor, Payden, Garrett, TJ, Daina, Destiny, Eli, Dakota, Ksyshaun, Nitsaya, Nyonna and Logan; his brothers and sisters, Keith Libner, Matt (Carol) Libner, Wade (Kelly) Libner, Cheryl Libner, Teri (Pat) Richards and Jeanette Roberts and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Funeral Services will be held at 7:00 p.m., Thursday, November 17, 2011 at Hanley-Turner-Eighner Funeral Home in Earlville, IL with Rev. Del Keilman officiating. Burial will be private. Visitation will be from 5:00 p.m. until the time of service at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the family.
