Stanley J. Rude

Stanley Rude, 85, of Sheridan, Illinois passed away Thursday, May 12, 2022 at Rush-Copley Medical Center in Aurora, IL. He was born on September 20, 1936 in Des Plaines, IL. The son of Stanley and Mary Rude. He married Milarie D. Bliss on June 12, 1982 in Hinsdale, IL. He worked as a heating and air conditioning technician for his entire life. He enjoyed fishing and loved traveling around to show his dogs at shows, especially his St. Bernard “Jinx” and his current buddy “Clark.” Most of all he enjoyed spending time with his family.

He is survived by his wife Milarie; his children, Michael (Lisa) Rude, Eric Rude, Amy (Earl) Klinzing, Jonathan (Stephanie) Rude, and Christopher Rude; his six grandchildren, Tieler, James, McKenna, Christopher, Matthew, and Michael; four great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, one son Robert Rude, and one sister Mary Ann.
According to Stanley’s wishes there will be no visitation and a Celebration of Life will be announced at a later date in July. Cremation was entrusted to Turner-Eighner Funeral Home in Somonauk, IL.
