Sherrie J. Miller, 67, of Sugar Grove, IL passed away Monday, October 2, 2023 in Amita Health Mercy Medical Center in Aurora, IL surrounded by her loving family. She was born July 1, 1956 in Aurora, IL the daughter of Robert “Buddy” and Shelby (Sanford) Murphy. She married Donnie Nally on March 3, 1973, and later she married John “Jack” Miller on May 15, 1996. She was a member of the Yorkville American Legion. Sherrie enjoyed traveling, diamond art, pool parties, and family get togethers. She was best known for her laugh.
She is survived by her husband Jack Miller; her mother Shelby; her children, Amy (Jason) West, Stephanie (Bryant) Lovelace, Sarah Miller and Todd (Cheri) Miller; five grandchildren, Jakob West, Adam West, Jaret West, Madison Lovelace, and Ryan Miller; one great granddaughter Hadley; one brother, Gary (Janet Cichon) Murphy; her ex-husband and friend Donnie (Lori) Nally; many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
She was preceded in death by her father, Robert “Buddy” Murphy, siblings, Kathie Streff, Timothy Murphy, and Paula Murphy.
Visitation will be from 3:00 to 5:00 p.m., Saturday, October 28, 2023 at Turner-Eighner Funeral Home 3952 Turner Ave. Plano, IL. A Memorial Service will follow at 5:00 p.m., Saturday, October 28, 2023 in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the family for research of rare lung diseases.
