Sherley Eastman, 82, of Plano passed away Tuesday, January 1, 2013 peacefully at her home. She was the loving daughter of Marie Huff and step-daughter of Ed Huff. She married Ray Brummel and later she married Wesley Eastman. Sherley loved her bowling leagues, she is in the Aurora Women’s Bowling Association Hall of Fame and was a past President of the AWBA. She was an avid fan of the Bulls, Cubs and tennis.
She is survived by her children, Chris (Dale) Konicek, Ken Brummel and Vickie Kolka; grandchildren, Stacie Nelson, Heather (Scott) Gryder, Ray Brummel, Zachary and Alex Kolka; Great-grandchildren, Brody and Hunter Vester and Reagan Gryder. The family would like to thank her caregivers, especially Tian, Doris and Catherine from Visiting Angels and Vitas Hospice.
She was preceded in death by her husbands, Ray and Wesley, and her parents.
Visitation will be from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Friday, January 4, 2013 at Turner-Eighner Funeral Home in Plano. Graveside services will be private. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the charity of one’s choice.
