Sheila K. Razo, 64, of the greater Lasalle area passed away Sunday April 26, 2020 at Aperion Care Marseilles in Marseilles, IL. She was born January 10, 1956 in Sandwich, IL the daughter of Shirley and Betty (Martin) Johnson.
She was a deputy for Lasalle County Sheriff’s Department for 18 years, retiring in 2005. She loved gardening, arts, crafts, and cooking. Most of all she enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren.
She is survived by her children, Lacey Razo of Streator, IL, Stacey (Jason) Stransky of Yorkville, IL, Richard (Shannon) Razo III of Peru, IL, Anissa (Derek) Jackson of Streator, IL; her grandchildren, Novella Razo, Tillman Stransky, Grayson Jackson, Tinleigh Stransky, and one granddaughter, Ashlyn, due in August; her siblings, Brent Johnson of WV, Phillip (Leah) Johnson of Sandwich, IL, Brenda (Art) Figgins of TN; and her niece and nephews, Alexandra, Chandler, and Bryce.
She is preceded in death by her parents and brother, Randy Johnson.
Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday April 30, 2020 at Turner-Eighner Funeral Home in Somonauk with Pastor Derek Johnsen officiating. Burial will follow at Little Rock Township Cemetery in Plano. Visitation will be from 12:00 p.m. noon until the time of service at 1:00 p.m. at Turner-Eighner Funeral Home in Somonauk.
