Sharron Kaye Bantz, 70, of Plano, IL passed away Sunday August 25, 2013 in Central DuPage Hospital in Winfield. She was born June 14, 1943 in Aurora, IL the daughter of June Haring. She was proudly raised by her grandparents, Ernest and Margaret Sebastian. She married Gerald W. Bantz on June 29, 1963 in Aurora, IL. Sharron was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Plano, IL. She enjoyed reading, camping, going to casino’s, spending time with her family and especially her grandchildren.
She is survived by her husband Gerald of Plano, two daughters, Marjorie (Frank) Kaltenecker and Michelle (Bob) Worthington both of Sandwich, IL; seven grandchildren, Rebecca, Caitlyn, Rachel and Lauren Kaltenecker, Nicholas (Bantz-Beaty) Jacquelynn and Samantha Worthington; one brother, Larry (Judy Sawyer) Hambrock of St. Charles, IL; one half- sister, Gail (Thomas) Doemland of Arizona, and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her mother June Haring, her grandparents, Ernest and Margaret Sebastian; one half- brother Karl Richard Haring.
Funeral Mass will be held at 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, September 4, 2013 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Plano, IL with Rev. Michael Callea M.I.C. officiating. Burial will follow in Lincoln Memorial Park Aurora, IL. Visitation will be from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m., Tuesday, September 3, 2013 at Turner-Eighner Funeral Home in Plano, IL and from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m., on Wednesday September 4th in the funeral home.
