Sandra C. Kopecky, 76, of Plano, IL passed away Saturday, September 14, 2013 at her home in Plano. She was born July 11, 1937 in Melrose Park, IL the daughter of William and Ethel (Michlei) Gallant. She married Charles Kopecky on February 12, 1959 in Melrose Park, IL.
She is survived by her husband, Charles of Plano; one daughter, Karyn (Colin) Dahlstrand of Darien, IL; two sons, Keith E. (Sue) Kopecky of Byron, IL and Kevin (Fran) Kopecky of North Riverside, IL; four grandchildren; one cousin, Joyce (Don) Shannon of Elgin, IL.
She was preceded in death by her parents and one son, Kenneth Kopecky.
Memorial services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, September 28, 2013 at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Hinckley, IL with Pastor Chris Navurskis officiating. Please omit flowers. Memorials may be directed to Immanuel Lutheran Church of Hinckley or the ASPCA.
