Samuel George Silburn, 74, of Earlville, IL passed away Monday, July 4, 2011 at Willow Crest Nursing Pavilion in Sandwich, IL. He was born June 29, 1937 in Waterman, IL, the son of Millard J. and Maye Ora (Nelson) Silburn. He was employed for DeKalb Ag for over 25 years.
He is survived by one sister, Ora Libersky of Earlville; one nephew, Curtis (Linda) Libersky of Port St. Lucie, FL; one cousin, Joe Silburn of Genoa and several cousins.
He was preceded in by his parents, two sisters, Maria Silburn and Carol Scott.
Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 p.m., Friday, July 8, 2011 at Hanley-Turner-Eighner Funeral Home in Earlville with Rev. Del Keilman officiating. Burial will follow at Ohio Grove Cemetery in DeKalb. Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. until the time of services at 1:00 p.m. at the funeral home on Friday.
