Ryann Leon Roth, aged 41, of Sheridan, Illinois, passed away peacefully at his home on Wednesday, May 6, 2026, surrounded by his loving family. Born on May 14, 1984, in Sandwich, Illinois, Ryann was the cherished son of Rodney and Patricia (Willes) Roth.

A man whose heart was boundless, Ryann was known for his abundance of love for his friends, whom he always considered like family. His commitment to helping others was evident in his long-standing role as an AA Sponsor, through which he offered guidance and a helping hand to many throughout the years, making a profound impact in his community.

Ryann was a true outdoorsman at heart. He relished the serenity and adventure found in fishing, hunting, and kayaking. Some of his happiest moments were spent enjoying nature’s beauty alongside his beloved nieces and nephews. He also found joy in the simple pleasures of life, taking daily walks with his faithful dog, Roscoe, and his cat, Goldie Max.

He is survived by his devoted parents, Rodney and Patricia Roth; his brother, Kurtis Roth and wife Cathy of Leland, Illinois; his sister, Samantha Roth and husband Josh Ervin of Sandwich, Illinois; and his treasured nieces and nephews: Lennox Roth, Emma (Brady Ambler) Roth, Van Roth, Laiken, Kortnie, Kolbie, Liv, Dax, and Brooklynn Ervin.

Family and friends are invited to pay their respects and celebrate Ryann’s life during visitation on Monday, May 11, 2026, from 1:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m., followed by a funeral service at 5:00 p.m. at Turner-Eighner Funeral Home in Somonauk, Illinois, located at 13160 W Rt 34, PO Box 404. The final farewell will be held with burial on Tuesday, May 12, 2026, commencing at 10:00 a.m. at Elerding Cemetery in Sheridan, Illinois.
