Russell F. Coultrip, 78, of Leland, Illinois passed away Sunday, May 28, 2017 at his home in Leland, IL. He was born October 4, 1938 in Leland, IL the son of Edward and Olga E. Vermeland Coultrip. Russell was never married. He farmed for Herbert Hazemann in the Leland area all of his life.
He is survived by one brother, Robert Coultrip of Yorktown, VA and several nieces and nephews. including Sylvia Mahan of Leland, IL, Mickey Mahan of Sandwich, IL, Cindy Kenny Petro of Bloomfield, IN, Carl Mahan, Joan Bill Logan of Leland, IL and Leon Mahan of Dixon, IL, and several great nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, two sisters, Charlotte Duechler and Claribel Coultrip Mahan, two nephews, Clarence and Bryan Mahan.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Thursday, June 1, 2017 at Turner-Eighner Funeral Home in Somonauk, IL. with Pastor Sandy Smith officiating. Burial will follow in Little Indian Creek Cemetery rural Leland, IL. Visitation will be from 4:00 to 7:00 Wednesday, May 31, 2017 at Turner-Eighner Funeral Home in Somonauk, IL.
