Ronald F. Sheridan

Ronald F. Sheridan, 80, of Sandwich, IL passed away Monday, February 27, 2017 at Robin’s Nest Assisted Living in Geneva, IL. He was born February 21, 1937 at the family home in West Brooklyn, IL, the son of Raymond and Ella Schneider Sheridan. He married Louise McLellan on February 23, 1963 in Wilmette, IL. Ronald was a proud US Army Veteran. He was an avid White Sox fan; he loved to play the game and tried out for the Chicago Cubs. Ronald was employed by Boeing, Caterpillar, and the City of Aurora. He enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren and great grandchildren.
He is survived by his wife, Louise of Sandwich, IL; one daughter, Sandi Schiltz of Dayton, IL; two sons, Charles Kelly Sheridan of Carol Stream, IL and Michael Aslihan Sheridan of Ankara, Turkey; five grandchildren, Thomas Sheridan, Kelsey Sheridan, Stephanie Byron Gibb, Mandi Anthony Miceli, and Brittni Jerry Rojas; four great grandchildren, Amelia, Mia, Liam, and Eric; two sisters, Norma Sheridan of Graham, WA and Joni Chuck Lawson of Dixon, IL; two brothers, Jerry Charla Sheridan and Earl Marion Sheridan both of St. George, UT; several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his parents, one great grandson, Everett Gibb, and four brothers, Bob, Neil, Kenny, and Roger Sheridan.
Funeral Service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 4, 2017 at Turner-Eighner Funeral Home in Somonauk. Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 4, 2017 at the funeral home in Somonauk. Memorials may be directed to the charity of one’s choice.
