Ronald L. Graf, 74, of Paw Paw, IL, formerly of Yorkville, IL passed away, Sunday, May 11, 2008 at Valley West Community Hospital in Sandwich. He was born November 23, 1933 in Rochelle, IL, the son of John W. and Margaret Ann (Johnson) Graf. He was a Veteran of the United States Air Force serving during the Korean War.
He was formerly employed by Wagner Heating and Air Conditioning in Addison, IL as a welder. He was a member of Green River Trail Riders, Illinois Valley Trail Riders , Fox Valley Trail Riders and he enjoyed going to the 100 Mile Trail Ride. His greatest passion was his horses and his two cats, but his truest love was his family.
He is survived by five children, Randy Graf of Texas, Mary Wargo of Streator, IL, Nicole Graf of North Aurora, IL, Ronald Graf, Jr. of Ottawa, IL and Corey (Tony) Gramme of Montgomery, IL; seven grandchildren, Mary’s daughter, Jennifer Elmore of Streator, IL, Nicole’s children, Elliott Guerrero, Taylor Graf and BreAnna Guerrero all of North Aurora, IL and Corey’s daughters, Alyssa and Katelyn of Montgomery, IL; one brother, John “Jack” (Lois) Graf of Texas; one niece and one nephew.
He was preceded in death by his parents and one son, Gary Graf.
According to Ron’s wishes there will be no services. Private graveside services will be held at a later date at Naperville Cemetery in Naperville, IL. Memorials may be directed to the family in care of the funeral home.
