Robert C. Sondgeroth, 72, of El Paso IL formerly of Mendota, IL passed away Thursday, October 4, 2012 at El Paso Health Care Center in El Paso, IL. He was born February 9, 1940 in Sublette, IL the son of Frank and Rose (Andrew) Sondgeroth. He served in the U.S. Air Force.
He is survived by two sisters, Joan (Mike) Lauer of Mendota, IL and Karen (Jerry) Rabbitt of Urbana, IL; four brothers, Keith (Karon) Sondgeroth of Arizona, John (Linda) Sondgeroth of New York, Michael (Luzy) Sondgeroth of Arizona and Steve Sondgeroth of Texas; several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother Peter and his wife Patsy Sondgeroth.
Funeral Mass will be held at 10:30 a.m., Tuesday, October 9, 2012 at St. Teresa of Avila Catholic Church in Earlville, IL. Burial will follow in St. Theresa Catholic Cemetery in Earlville. There will be no visitation. Arrangements were entrusted to Hanley-Turner-Eighner Funeral Home in Earlville.
