Robert R. Kukuk, 81, of Earlville, IL passed away, Wednesday, November 7, 2012 in Rochelle Gardens Care Center in Rochelle, IL. He was born August 21, 1931 in Earlville, IL the son of Ronald and Clara (Anderson) Kukuk. He married Geraldine Smith on May 11, 1956 in Ottawa, IL. He was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church in Earlville, where he served as an usher for several years. Robert served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. When he retired he had been working for Del Monte for several years. He loved horseback riding and being in the great outdoors.
He is survived by his wife Jerry of Earlville, three daughters, Bonnie Przetacznik of Paw Paw, IL, Debbie (Dennis) Conover of Lewiston, ID, Pennie Van Pelt of Sandwich, IL; six grandchildren, nineteen great grandchildren and three great great grandchildren; one brother, Coleman (Joan) Kukuk of Colorado and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, one sister, Marilyn Hanley.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., on Monday, November 12, 2012 at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Earlville, IL with Rev. Tammy Anderson officiating. Burial will follow in Precinct Cemetery rural Earlville, IL. Visitation will be from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m., on Sunday, November 11, 2012 at Hanley-Turner-Eighner Funeral Home in Earlville, IL.
