Ricky Curtis Horton

Ricky Curtis Horton, 71, of Lake Zurich, IL, passed away peacefully November 1, 2025 surrounded by his loved ones. He was born June 7, 1954 in Sandwich, IL the son of Curtis Walter Horton and Norma Lee Horton.

Visitation will be on Sunday, November 16, 2025 from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm followed by a Memorial Service at 12:00 pm at Turner-Eighner Funeral Home in Plano, IL with Chaplain David Hicks officiating. A Celebration of Life will follow at Suzy’s Bar and Grill in Yorkville, IL.

He is survived by numerous loved ones and family including Kathy Woody; Danielle (Steve) Gillhaus, Hannah, & William; Ashley Wintermote, Sereniti, Cameron, Blakelyn, & Jaxon; Nicholas (Nycole) Woody, Easton, & Brielle; Bethney (Jim) Horton-Wampler; Jeremey Tirevold (Sara) Layla & Landen; Jessica (Dennis) Warren, Jordyn & Lincoln; Jim (Lee-deceased) Giltjes; Opal (Brad) Gilties-Wernsman, John, Brandon, Natalie, Garrett, & Marshall; Misty (Geoff) Gilties-Farnham, Brian & Taylor; Kaemon Cox.

He was preceded in death by his wife Cindy Horton, Curtis Walter Horton, Norma Lee Horton, and Lee Horton-Giltjes, and Chantelle Giltjes.
