Rick L. Heiston

     Rick L. Heiston, age 68, of Earlville, IL, passed away on 10-7-2026

     He was born on 10-29-1958 to Francies (Bud) and Viola (Whitlock) Heiston.

     Rick married his wife Linda 2-8-1979

     He was enlisted in the IL National Guard for 10 years and enjoyed his career of driving Semi Trucks on the open road.  Rick recently retired and planned on traveling in his motorhome with his dog, Charles William.  He loved the outdoors, whether hunting, camping, or boating.  He enjoyed spending time with his friends and had a contagious laugh.  He was a true friend.

     Rick was an Organ Donor.  His impact of donating will save lives or improve the quality of life to those in need.  

    In addition to his parents, Rick was proceeded in death by his wife, Linda; brothers, James Heiston, Frances M. Heiston, and David Heiston; niece, Nicole (Heiston) Yagelski, and nephew, D. Scotty Heiston.

     He is survived by his niece, Angela (Jacob) Heiston-Stanford; nephew, Brian (Nicole) Heiston; great nieces, Isabella and Abigale Stanford; stepsons, Arvis (Angela) Nantz and Eric Nantz; numerous cousins.
