Richard M. Krafft, 84, of Plainfield, Illinois passed away Wednesday, April 12, 2017 at West Lake Hospital in Melrose Park, IL. He was born March 3, 1933 in New Castle, PA, the son of Andrew J. and Mary Ann Hoprick Krafft. Richard was a very kind, respectful and a pleasure to be around.
He is survived by one sister, Pauline Bischof of Chicago, IL and several nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his parents; one sister, Maryann Carlson; two brothers, Rudolph and Andrew Krafft.
Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, April 17, 2017 at Salem Lutheran Church in Sandwich IL, with Pastor Wayne Derber officiating. Burial will follow at Cross Lutheran Cemetery in Yorkville, IL. Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service on Monday, April 17, 2017 at Salem Lutheran Church.
