Randi Lee Starnes

Randi Starnes, 73, Warrenville, IL, passed away Friday, July 3, 2026, at West Suburban Nursing Home in Bloomingdale, IL. She was born on October 3, 1952, in Aurora, IL, the daughter of William and Dorothy (Tozzi) McCabe. She married William L. Starnes on August 25, 1973, in Downers Grove, IL. Randi was a dedicated employee of the Book Nook in Lisle for over 20 years, where she enjoyed talking with the customers. Her beloved cats, Bella and Maddie were always by her side. Throughout her life, Randi loved spending time with her family, especially her mother, sister, and granddaughter.

She is survived by her husband of 52 years, William; her son, Kris (Christine) Starnes; her beloved granddaughter, Makayla; her sister, Diane (Michael) Gwilliam; nieces and nephews, Zach, Drew, Calli, Lindsey, Madison, and Matthew; and many extended family.

She was preceded in death by her parents, William and Dorothy.
