Ramona J. White, 81, of Sheridan, IL passed away Saturday, April 7, 2012 at Willow Crest Nursing Pavilion in Sandwich. She was born March 30, 1931 in McLean, IL the daughter of Jake and Leta Bernice (McCafferty) Hinthorn. She married Sidney E. White on July 7, 1950 in Carlock, IL. She worked at C.T.S. Knights in Sandwich, IL before retiring. Ramona enjoyed, crafts, garage sales, helping people in need and especially raising, and spending time with her sons and grandchildren.
She is survived by one son, Anthony (Diane) White of Sheridan; two grandsons, Ryan White of Rock Island and Nathan White of Sheridan; five brothers, George, Harry, Roger, Raymond, and Darrell Hinthorn, and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her stepfather Omer Hinthorn; her husband, Sidney; one son, Richard E. White; three brothers, Robert, Jack, and Dean; one sister, Barbara Sampson.
Graveside service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, April 11, 2012 at Elerding Cemetery in Sheridan.
