Paul R. Orseske, Jr.

Paul R. Orseske, Jr., 69, of Somonauk, IL passed away Wednesday, February 1, 2017 at his home, surrounded by his loving family. He was born December 6, 1947 in Chicago, IL, the son of Paul and Bernadette Jones Orseske, Sr. He married Catherine Moeller on June 15, 1968 in Romeoville, IL. Paul was a licensed Union Plumber his entire life. He was an avid Blackhawks fan but most of all, he enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.
He is survived by his wife, Catherine of Somonauk, IL; three daughters, Jennifer Mike Hobbs Marshall of Ottawa, IL, Rebecca Bobby Morton of Streator, IL and Devilyn Orseske of St. Louis, MO; one son, Paul Mary Orseske, III of Mendota, IL; three grandchildren, Paul Orseske, IV, Corall Morton and Danielle Bruen; one great grandchild, Hayle Marshall; four brothers, Robert Carol Orseske of Westmont, IL, Kenneth Orseske of Wheaton, IL, Dennis Terry Orseske of Osh Kosh, WI and Edward Melanie Orseske of AL; his stepfather, Albert Orseske of Manteno, IL.
He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Thomas Orseske.
A Memorial Service will be held at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 18, 2017 at Turner-Eighner Funeral Home in Somonauk with Pastor James Bothwell officiating. Visitation will be from 2:00 p.m. until the time of service at 4:00 p.m. at the funeral home in Somonauk. Memorials may be directed to the American Cancer Society or the charity of one’s choice.
