Paul R. Adrian, 68, of Leland passed away Monday, June 15, 2015 at his home surrounded by his loving family. He was born December 2, 1946 in Sandwich, IL, the son of Julian and Alice Batterham Adrian. He married Rosalie Ruberg on July 17, 1978 in Las Vegas, NV. Paul was a member of the Sandwich Moose Lodge and Mendota Elks Club. He worked at Caterpillar for over 30 years, retiring in 1998. Paul also worked for KRH Farming for 15 years.
He is survived by his wife, Rosalie of Leland, IL; four daughters, Kim Paul Finnell Bryant of Earlville, IL, Traci Krapausky of Leland, IL, Shelly Olson of Sandwich, IL and Jenny Tom Dover of North Aurora, IL; three sons, John Brenda Adrian of Sandwich, IL, Brad Canfield of Sheridan, IL and Randy Canfield of Earlville, IL; eight grandchildren; five great grandchildren; one brother, Ron Joann Adrian of Somonauk, IL. He was preceded in death by his parents, granddaughters, Nicole and Lily, one sister, Marie Hill and one brother, Bob Adrian.
Funeral Mass will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, June 19, 2015 at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Somonauk with Father Kevin Butler officiating. Burial will follow in St. John’s Catholic Cemetery in Somonauk. Visitation will be from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, June 18, 2015 at Turner-Eighner Funeral Home in Somonauk.
