Patti (Kachinske) Doyle, age 69, of Plano, IL passed away on April 20, 2020 at her home. She was born on April 16, 1951 in Duluth, MN, the daughter of Louis and Phyllis Kachinske.

Patti lived a full life. She served as an office manager before pursuing a career in special education. Patti spent the next eighteen years of her life teaching special students who were blessed to have her supporting and advocating for them. Laughing came natural to Patti as she was always first to laugh at herself sharing a sense of humor that drew people to her. She loved all of her friends (even if she didn’t tell them) and none of them had to doubt anything she said because she was always honest with them even when she was too honest.

Patti always prioritized her time for her family, loving their weekend get-togethers and outings. She cherished being a grandma and could be counted on to cheer on her grandchildren. Patti especially enjoyed a campfire, and just spending time out in nature. Patti made routine visits to Minnesota to keep in touch with her extended family. She also enjoyed reading, but she never turned down a chance to golf. Just as in speaking, Patti was known for hitting it straight.

She is survived by her best friend and confidant, Muffy; her children, Kristi (Joe Laverty) Doyle of Mullica Hill, New Jersey; and Martin (Flory) Doyle of Lemont, IL; grandchildren, Michael Doyle, and Zachery Doyle, Isabella Laverty, Shaughn Laverty, Livia Laverty; siblings, Mary Michael Jo Waller, Peter (Mary Ellen) Kachinske; nieces and nephews, Terry (Blythe) Aldrich with their children Toby and T.J., Kathleen (Lee) Packingham with their children Kaylee and Carter, and last but not least Max Kachinske as well as numerous close cousins and good friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Louis and Phyllis Kachinske.
