Patricia Gomez Maldonado, 42, of Sandwich IL, passed away Tuesday, January 3, 2012 at Provena Mercy Center in Aurora. She was born March 27, 1969 in Mexico, the daughter of Onesimo and Delfina (Diaz) Gomez.
She is survived by her parents, of Plano; one daughter, Cristy Maldonado of Sandwich; one son, Ricky Maldonado of Sandwich; two sisters, Carmen (Ron) Carlson of Montgomery, Diana (Jeremy) Scull of Cortland; three brothers, Onesimo (Marjorie) Gomez of Plano, Osbaldo (Heather) Gomez of Sandwich, Manuel (Blanca) Gomez of Sandwich; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her maternal grandfather, Trinidad Diaz; paternal grandparents, Jaunita and Agapito Gomez.
Funeral Mass will be held at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, January 7, 2012 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Plano with Father Andy Davy M.I.C. officiating with burial to follow in Little Rock Township Cemetery in Plano, IL. Visitation will be from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Friday, January 6, 2012 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church with a prayer service at 7:00 p.m. Memorials may be directed to the family.
