Patricia A. Hovious Lopez

Patricia A. Hovious Lopez, 70, of Sandwich, Illinois passed away Sunday, December 6, 2015 at her residence in Sandwich. She was born December 13, 1944 in Ottawa, IL the daughter of Vernon D. and Celia Martin Hovious. She married Luciano Lopez on October 15, 1990 in Yorkville, IL. Patricia enjoyed the Chicago Bears, the Chicago Cubs, cooking for family and friends. Her greatest love of all was her family, especially her grandchildren and the love of her animals.

She is survived by her husband Luciano of Sandwich, IL, one daughter Trina Brad Schmidt Leger of Somonauk, IL, one son Scott Leger of Indiana, one step-son Peter R.H. Becky Lopez of Sandwich, IL, twelve grandchildren and five great grandchildren; two sisters, Brenda Roger Cytrych and Sue Ray Barsztaitis Trost, both of Ottawa, IL; two brothers, Darrell Kathy Hovious and Jim Cheri Hovious both of Marseilles, IL and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, and one sister Carol Hovious.

Memorial Visitation will be held from 12:00 noon to 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, December 13, 2015 at The Marseilles Fire Department 205 Lincoln St. Marseilles, IL 61341.
