Pamela Jo Fruit, 56, of Sandwich passed away Wednesday, January 1, 2014 at her home in Sandwich. She was born March 30, 1957 in DeKalb, IL the daughter of Leonard and Dorothy (Holmes) Hornback. Pamela was a very devoted mother, grandmother and loved her family and friends dearly.
She is survived by one daughter, Lisa (Jeff) Fruit Nissley of Denver, CO; one son, Justin (Amanda Olson) Fruit of Sandwich, IL; three grandchildren, Eythan Fruit, Trey Butz and Will Nissley; three sisters, Cindy (Daniel) Moore of Sandwich, IL, Kim (Jim) Sherrill of Amboy, IL and Tammy (Jeff) Wilkinson of Montgomery, IL; two brothers, Gary (Kay) Billings of DeKalb, IL and Terry (Linda) Hornback of Missouri; two special friends, Donna Herndon and Linda Martin.
She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, Ronnie Billings and Doug Hornback.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, January 7, 2014 at Turner-Eighner Funeral Home in Somonauk with Pastor David Kaul officiating. Visitation will be from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Monday, January 6, 2014 at the funeral home in Somonauk. Memorials may be directed to the charity of one’s choice.
