Norman L. Hage, 66, lifelong resident of Plano, IL passed away Tuesday, March 27, 2012 at his home in Plano surrounded by his loving family. He was born May 10, 1945 in Aurora, IL the son of Elmer and Evelyn (Keslinger) Hage. Norman married Patricia “Patsi” Mundwiler on March 8, 1969 in Plano, IL. He was a veteran of the Vietnam War having served in the U.S. Army. He was the first inductee to the Plano High School Hall of Fame for his achievements in basketball, where he held the record for the most points scored in his high school career of 2002 points. He enjoyed working with wood and most recent years he retired form Design Stairs of Sandwich. He was an avid golfer and a member of Cedardell Golf Club in Plano.

He is survived by one daughter, Kara Hage of Plano, IL; one granddaughter, Nyana P. Hage; four sisters, Phyllis Nelson of Aurora, IL, Charlene Ratterree of Ft. Myers Beach, FL, Sharon (Frank) Brummel of Montgomery, IL and Peg (Dan) Hill of Sandwich, IL, and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Patricia “Patsi” and one son Aaron in infancy.

Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m., on Tuesday, April 10, 2012 at Little Rock Township Cemetery in Plano, IL. Visitation will be from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m., Monday, April 9, 2012 at Turner-Eighner Funeral in Plano, IL.
