Norma J. Albright. 72, of Plano, IL passed away, Sunday, February 17, 2019 in Sandwich, IL, after a courageous battle with cancer, surrounded by her loving family. She was born February 9, 1947 in Morristown, TN the daughter of James Wilbur and Beulah Lucille (Honeycutt) Barding. Norma married Larry Albright on September 5, 1981 in Plano, IL. Norma and her husband Larry owned and operated Uncle Lars Pizza in Plano for over 34 years. She was an avid bowler, Cubs, and Bears fan. She liked to go to Hayward, WI for fishing trips. Norma and Larry loved riding motorcycles. Most of all she enjoyed spending time with her family.
She is survived by two daughters, Shelley Martin of Sandwich, IL, and Jennifer (Don) Hastert of Gallatin, TN; four grandchildren, Jill Johnson, Tiffany (Matt) Bloomfield, Sophia and Cole Hastert; eight great grandchildren; four sisters, Mary Wiley of Sandwich, IL, Patricia Schaefer of Sheridan, IL, Linda (Bill) King of Sandwich, IL and Brinda Hyatt of Sandwich, IL; one brother, Bob Barding of DeKalb, IL; several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her first husband John Smith the father of her children, her second husband Larry and one son, Jeremy Scott Smith at birth.
Funeral services will be at 7:00 p.m., Wednesday, February 20, 2019 at Turner-Eighner Funeral Home in Plano, IL, Private Burial will be in Little Rock Township Cemetery in Plano, IL. Visitation will be from 4:00 p.m., Wednesday, February 20, 2019 in the funeral home until the service at 7:00 p.m. In Lieu of flowers memorials may be directed to the family or the American Cancer
