Nancy L. Brady

Nancy L. Brady, 88, of Sandwich, IL passed away Sunday, September 26, 2010 at home surrounded by her loving family. She was born September 11, 1922 in Bloomfield, MO, the daughter of Kossuth and Nell (Bates) Blomeyer. She married Louis P. Brady on June 26, 1948 in Plainfied, IL. She was a member of United Church of Sandwich, 50 year member of PEO. She taught Elementary School at Woodbury in Sandwich for 22 years. She enjoyed playing bridge and golf, traveling and spending time with her family and friends.

She is survived by her husband, Louis of 62 years; one daughter, Ellen Brady of Aurora, IL; one son, Laurence Brady of Long Grove, IL; three grandsons, Patrick, Scott and Collin Brady; one great grandson, Isaac Brady; two brothers, Keith (Caroline) Blomeyer of Bella Vista, AR and Dr. Kenneth Blomeyer of Prairie Village, Kansas; one sister-in-law, Phyllis Blomeyer of Ft. Collins, CO and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Robert.

Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, September 29, 2010
at Burkhart-Eighner Funeral Home in Sandwich, IL with Rev. Thomas Babler officiating. Burial will follow at Oak Ridge Cemetery in Sandwich, IL. Visitation will be from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, September 28, 2010 at the funeral home.
