Miguel Terrazas, 37, of Plano, IL passed away Sunday, December 1, 2013 at Valley West Hospital in Sandwich, IL. He was born February 10, 1976 in Emiliano Martinez, Mexico the son of Alfredo and Zoila (Avila) Terrazas. He married Maria Gonzalez on December 13, 1997 in Chicago, IL. Miguel was an avid soccer fan, loved the outdoors but his greatest love of all was his family.
He is survived by wife, Maria of Plano, IL; his father, Alfredo of Emiliano Martinez, Durango, Mexico; two sons, Miguel Terrazas of Plano, IL and Hector Terrazas of Plano, IL; one sister, Elva (Jesus) Ibarra of Aurora, IL; four brothers, Homero (Araceli) Terrazas of Elgin, IL, Aurelio (Isabel) Terrazas of Chicago, IL, Juventino Terrazas of Mexico and Ulises Terrazas of Mexico.
He was preceded in death by his mother.
Funeral Mass will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, December 9, 2013 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Plano, IL with Father Andy Davy, M.I.C. officiating. Burial will follow in Little Rock Township Cemetery in Plano, IL. Visitation will be from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. on Sunday, December 8, 2013 at Turner-Eighner Funeral Home in Plano, IL. Memorials may be directed to the family.
