Michael C. Josefchuk, 76, of Sandwich, IL. passed away on Sunday, May 29, 2022 at his home. He was born November 24, 1945 in Berwyn, IL. the son of Michael and Julia (Niwa) Josefchuk. He enjoyed fishing and competed in many fishing tournaments. Most of all he loved spending time with his family and his dog “Bear.”
He is survived by his one brother, Edward (Mary Anne) Josefchuk of Somonauk, IL; one uncle, Frank Niwa; one sister-in-law, Louisa Josefchuk; five nephews, Karl James Josefchuk of Lexington, KY, Richard (Christy) Josefchuk of Tulsa, OK, John (Rachael) Josefchuk and Jared Josefchuk both of Flagstaff, AZ, and Jason (Jessica) Diebold of Somonauk, IL; four nieces, Norah (Tim) Steinhouse , and Susan Josefchuk both of Tulsa, OK, and Julia (Anthony) Mancini of Flagstaff, AZ, and Amber (Steve) Diebold Delo of Jacksonville, FL, and several great nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Nancy, two brothers, Karl (Jane) Josefchuk and Richard Josefchuk.
